Peer review policy
The Scientific-Technical Journal uses a single-blind peer review system prior to publication. Aiming to publish only high-quality work, we evaluate it through a rigorous review process that primarily considers:
- manuscripts should not be submitted to multiple journals simultaneously;
- manuscripts must be relevant to the journal's scope;
- STJ editors strongly condemn all forms of plagiarism. Submitted manuscripts are thoroughly checked using software to detect any instances of copied text, results from other sources, or self-plagiarism (no more than 30%);
- manuscripts are reviewed by two experts from the STJ editorial board or recommended by them. In certain cases, editors may also request additional reviews;
- if reviewers request revisions, authors must make the appropriate changes to their manuscript and resubmit it to the journal for further evaluation by the reviewers;
- the Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision on the manuscript based on the reviewers' reports, of which the authors are promptly notified;
- Rejected manuscripts will not be returned to the authors, but they will be informed of the editorial decision;
- If conflicts of interest are identified that arise from direct competitive, collaborative, or other relationships with any of the authors of the manuscript, it will be excluded from the evaluation process.
